Aerial yoga involves series of excerise inspired by yoga, pilates, aerial acrobatics and many more. Aerial yoga combines acrobatic arts and anti-gravity asana. Aerial yoga is a core workout program as it engages core muscles to balance and stabilise.
Aerial yoga is done with the help of hammock. Hammock is suspended from the ceiling that can support your weight, ease pressure, create space in your joints, decrease compression in spine and help to find more mobility.
Asanas such as inversion or headstand are generally very difficult to achieve but with the help of hammock it is possible even for beginners to hang freely and safely.
